SHIPPING BOATS
The wide open ramps and open spaces of the ship's cargo deck makes it idea for loading boats on trailers. There is no need to lift the boats with a crane and they are protected under deck.
There are some height restrictions which limits total height to under 15 feet. Special arrangements have been made with Bahamas Customs to expedite the receipt and clearance of your boat in Freeport. The form C-41 can be prepared in advance and faxed to Freeport. There is a $10 fee which will be paid by the marina in Freeport. Upon arrival there will be a prompt release of the boat. The marina will arrange the lift to put the boat into the water. We will gladly assist you in all arrangements.
EXPORTING VEHICLES
Vehicles are defined as cars, trucks, motorcycles, all terain vehicles (engine size over 50cc), heavy equipment, and any other self propelled units. All vehicles for export must be received at the Port 72 hours in advance, along with all required paperwork. Holidays and weekends do not count toward the 72 hour period. Vehicles cannot have more than a quarter tank of fuel. Receiving hours are 7:00am to 4:00pm. Merchandise may not be left inside the vehicles.
